The Water Mist is an innovative fire suppression solution, designed to protect delicate equipment and environments that require effective protection with minimal damage. The key feature of this system is the use of pressurized water, released by sprinklers that emit tiny droplets.

What truly sets Water Mist apart from traditional sprinkler or spray systems is the size of these droplets. To be classified as a water mist, the system must produce droplets smaller than 1,000 microns, while traditional systems produce much larger droplets, around 5,000 microns.

Advantages of the Water Mist system:

High Efficiency: The water mist can reach hard-to-access areas, extinguishing the fire more effectively and quickly.

Less Water, More Results: Uses up to 90% less water compared to traditional sprinkler systems, making it a more sustainable option.

Protects Your Equipment: Ideal for environments where valuable and sensitive equipment needs to be safeguarded with minimal damage.

Less Smoke, More Safety: Helps control smoke and soot particles, creating a safer environment for everyone.

We’re really excited to share that we have the expertise of our engineer André Sagarço, a specialist who actively participates in the creation of NBRs and standards. Recently, we had the privilege of joining a live session about the ABNT NBR 17186 standard, organized by the Brazilian Fire Safety Committee. This standard outlines the conditions and types of buildings where Water Mist systems can be applied, highlighting their effectiveness in areas with water limitations or where traditional water usage could cause damage. NBR 17186 also sets important guidelines for the design, installation, and maintenance of these systems, ensuring they effectively meet specific fire protection needs.
